OKAVANGO DELTA

The Okavango Delta stretches out like a great hand through northern Botswana - this great wetland teams with wildlife, from the elusive hippos showing just their noses to the rarer bird species like Pel's Fishing Owl. All can be spotted here in the Okavango. Most exciting is to take a slow meander through the reeds on a mokoro, a dug out boat. Hold your breath as you glide past the animals and they decide whether to take notice of you or not. Here in the reeds, all forms of wildlife find you.
